Its an unknown wind
that blows tonight
Unheard song
that singes me
Unseen stars
that tear me apart
Into a thousand pieces;
Blown away
by the unknown wind
that moans tonight
that blows tonight
Unheard song
that singes me
Unseen stars
that tear me apart
Into a thousand pieces;
Blown away
by the unknown wind
that moans tonight
There is a wind blowing in western Canada too - it is blowing winter away .... tonight the light is staying longer than usual, which lifts the heart with hope of spring. Your poem is very beautiful. I especially love the unheard song and unseen stars.....
ReplyDeleteYou said that there's a wind blowing in Western Canada and that suddenly reminds one of the Bob Dylan song, the refrain of which says that the answer is blowing in the wind ...
DeleteThis is a lovely poem, Soumyendu.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Just ramblings, Rita.
DeleteHappened just as I got into the car late at night, on the way back from a reception. A sudden gust of wayward wind went through the fallen leaves and I felt myself dissolved into this swirl of dried yellow
Many thanks for your kind words!
