Found these wonderful birds in our surroundings in late September 2014, was an absolute pleasure watching them flitting from branch to branch, pecking at the flowers and flying away in sudden unison

Thank you Rita, these pictures were taken in a Canon Powershot camera with 30x optical zoom, but now I am using a Nikon Coolpix P600 with 60x optical zoom which has got a specific birdwatching mode.
DeleteThanks for your reply. I just bought a Canon PowerShot, after not having had much luck with zoomed photos using my Olympus Stylus. I hadn't heard of the birdwatching mode on the Nikon Coolpix—sounds interesting.
