The Oriental White Eye in Faridabad



Found these wonderful birds in our surroundings in late September 2014, was an absolute pleasure watching them flitting from branch to branch, pecking at the flowers and flying away in sudden unison

    What wonderful and varied bird life you have! These are great photos of the Oriental White Eye.
    Your close-ups are so clear. What kind of camera do you use to get these pictures?

      Thank you Rita, these pictures were taken in a Canon Powershot camera with 30x optical zoom, but now I am using a Nikon Coolpix P600 with 60x optical zoom which has got a specific birdwatching mode.

      Thanks for your reply. I just bought a Canon PowerShot, after not having had much luck with zoomed photos using my Olympus Stylus. I hadn't heard of the birdwatching mode on the Nikon Coolpix—sounds interesting.
      I'm looking forward to viewing more of your amazing bird pictures!
